Sonderaufgang 2021

Like the Sonder Festival, the Sonderaufgang Festival was a transdisciplinary cultural festival. A central philosophy on which we continued to focus was the inclusion of visitors in order to offer a platform for exchange and to promote a broadly coordinated program with local and interregional artists.
The inclusion of the visitors means that we consider them as an equal part of the members of the association, be it with the construction and dismantling, with the design of the infrastructure, with the participation at the cooking station, at the bar or at the kiosk as well as with a spontaneous appearance on stage to enrich the cultural program.

Verein Vereint is an association of various artist collectives, organizers and individuals from Bern, Zurich and Lucerne. To see each of the currently 28 members of the association as a single individual and yet also to promote the many commonalities, give us the motivation in cultural creation, cultural education and the common experience to give a space and to be active in it. We cultivate a careful, considerate, respectful, loving and solidary way of dealing with each other, which we live out as an association and which allows us to incorporate this basic concept into all our activities and projects.
