The Backslash Festival invites a wide audience to get involved in a unique interweaving of different art disciplines from performance and dance, music and visual arts on multiple evenings.
During the festival weekend, around 35 largely younger artists from Switzerland and abroad will create a wide range of moments spread across three rooms, somewhere between contemplative introspection and ecstatic raves beyond conventional genre boundaries.
What if the boundaries between fact and fiction, feelings and emotions, words and sensory information were blurred? What if we could create moments together, immerse ourselves in the bliss of applied utopias and bring forth the possibility of a pause, a truce, a breathing space, a moment of togetherness?
